Youth
John 4:14
but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.

Welcome to the Youth

Hey everyone! Welcome to the Youth Group! We're so excited to have you join us as we explore our faith, connect with each other, and have a ton of fun. We're a community that's all about supporting each other, asking tough questions, and growing together. To kick things off, we've got a short video from your Youth Pastor David that we think you'll enjoy. So grab a snack, find a comfy spot, and let's get started!

Our youth group thrives on a weekly rhythm of faith, fellowship, and food! Sundays are packed with opportunities to connect with God's word. We kick off the morning with Sunday School, splitting into two groups: 6th-8th graders and 9th-12th graders, each diving deep into scripture verse by verse in the Youth Room. Sunday evenings bring Discipleship Training, where we delve even further into the Bible, exploring more complex theological concepts and strengthening our understanding of our faith, also in the Youth Room. Midweek, on Wednesdays, we gather again for small groups. After enjoying a shared meal, we break into smaller groups, separated by age and gender, for more focused discussions about Jesus and the Bible, allowing for deeper connections and more personalized growth. This weekly structure provides a balanced approach to spiritual development, fostering both individual growth and a strong sense of community within our youth group.
The annual Winter Retreat was a much-anticipated escape for the youth group, a chance to trade winter blues for spiritual rejuvenation and frosty fun. Each year, the destination changed, offering exciting new cities to explore. Whether it was a snowy mountain cabin or a cozy retreat center, the core remained the same: diving deeper into the Bible, learning more about Jesus, and building stronger bonds with each other. Bible studies sparked insightful discussions, while shared meals fostered community and laughter. Of course, no Winter Retreat was complete without plenty of fun – from snowball fights and sledding to exploring the local sights and enjoying games, these trips were a perfect blend of faith, fellowship, and unforgettable memories.
We go on a Winter Retreat every year at the end of December.

At church camp, our youth group will be diving headfirst into a week of faith, service, and fun. Each morning will kick off with engaging Bible studies, where we'll explore scripture through interactive lessons and small group discussions, deepening our understanding of God's word and growing in our faith. We'll also be actively living out our faith through various community outreach projects. We'll be volunteering at the local with a local organization, helping with community, and visiting residents, experiencing the joy of serving others and making a tangible difference. Beyond the study and service, we'll have plenty of opportunities for fun and fellowship. Think swimming, games, sports, campfire sing-alongs, and late-night conversations – all designed to strengthen our bonds as a youth group and create lasting memories. Church camp promises to be a powerful and transformative experience, bringing us closer to God and to each other.
We go on Youth Camp every year during the summer.

Journey

Journey, a vibrant church group for young girls, meets monthly to nurture their spiritual growth and equip them for life's adventures. Their gatherings are a blend of heartfelt Bible study, joyful fellowship, and practical life skills workshops. One month they might be delving into scripture, exploring themes of faith and resilience, while the next they could be learning basic cooking, budgeting, or even self-defense. Laughter and shared experiences fill the room as they build strong bonds, fostering a supportive community where each girl feels seen, valued, and empowered to navigate their journey with confidence and grace.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
