What is "Twelve"

"Twelve" is the name of the program we do each year in the Fall semester with our 6th-12th grade students.  Basically, it called "Twelve" because there are 12 wks worth of Bible studies and activities, 12 small groups, and 12 adult leaders.  These 12 weeks consist of three 3 part messages (2 weeks in a small group and the third in a traditional preaching environment) and three alternate activity weeks (Revival, Guest Speaker...).  Each 3 part message has a unique stage backdrop, music video, and "dress-up" theme (first week only), all of which work together to emphasize the point of the text we are studying during that time.  The goal of this program is to give students an effective and lasting visual illustration of the scriptural point and provide one on one interaction with adult group leaders who can more intimately guide them through their understanding of God's word and how to deal with routine teenage life concerns.
